Antique Roundabout/Corner Chair

19th century (1880’s). Mahogany (walnut?), elaborately carved face and raised leaves centerpiece. Twin dragon head back panels. Ornately carved armrests and legs. Elegant. Historical arguments as to design reasoning: gentleman’s desk chair, military swordsmen’s comfort, or to simply occupy an unused corner. Whatever the purpose – a lovely piece.
